Studies show Plavix helps reduce rate of mortality after acute heart attacks

Two studies presented Wednesday at the annual meeting of the American College of Cardiology show that adding sanofi-aventis' and Bristol-Myers Squibb's Plavix (clopidogrel) to standard therapy improved coronary perfusion and reduced mortality in acute heart attack patients, as reported in USA Today and other news sources. 9 Mar 2005
