 Conclusion of MEB roundtable conference: evaluation at national level remains necessary

On 26 May 2011, the Medicines Evaluation Board (MEB) organised a
roundtable conference titled ?Manoeuvring between The Netherlands
and Europe?. During this conference, representatives from the MEB,
politicians, patient organisations, the scientific community,
pharmaceutical companies and the medicines chain discussed how
Dutch patients benefit from MEB involvement at the European level.
The conclusion: regulating market access for medicinal products on
a national level remains necessary.
